Sofia is putting up search signs all over the city. Her boyfriend Luis is one of the more than 80,000 disappeared in Mexico. Copies of her photo surround her. At night, Sofia faces the recurring dream of a world turned to paper. First the birds, then the floor, her room, until even death is made of paper.
Gisela Carbajal Rodríguez was born in Aguascalientes Mexico. She currently studies directing for documentary film at University of Television and Film Munich. She is a graduate of Universidad La Concordia Aguascalientes where she studied Audio Visual Arts. In 2019 her film “Oro Blanco” was nominated for the Student Academy Award. Felix Klee currently studies directing for documentary film at University of Television and Film Munich. He is a member of the Youth Advisory Board at Locarno Film Festival. He is a graduate of Academy of Fine Arts Munich and Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg and was a guest student at Universidad de las Artes Aguascalientes.
